Regular cotton uses up more pesticides than any other crop. It also uses a lot of water, erodes the soil, and produces more greenhouse gas emissions than organic cotton. A commitment to organic cotton is better for the farmers, their families, the environment, and YOU. At SIP, our dyes are also non-toxic and long-lasting. We frequently do our own retail and have had existing customers sell our product to new customers by telling them how well the colors last and wash. We are committed to supporting a more sustainable and ethical production process - creating product that will last and be better for the earth. We also care deeply that everyone involved in our production is treated well. Our products are designed by Julia in the USA and then produced in Southern India in a factory that has deservedly won awards for both quality and admirable ethics.
